Can you believe that summer is almost here?! I hope you are all enjoying the warm weather, blooming flowers, and summer sales like I am.
The start of summer means that graduation season is right around the corner! I just wanted to drop by to remind you that if you haven’t picked out a card yet, don’t worry, there is no need to fret. I just wanted to drop in before the weekend to remind you all that tomorrow is Armed Forces Day. As a holiday that’s often overlooked (and sometimes overshadowed by Memorial Day), make sure you extend a “Thank You” to someone who has served or is currently serving our country. Salute a special lady or gent for their bravery, courage and dedication to the good ol’ USA. After all, if it weren’t for them, we might not be here today.

Of course you should pay homage to the woman that brought you here, but there’s one day in particular where we get to shower our moms with affection, love and gratitude…and it’s this weekend! Sunday is Mother’s Day and I’ve been scouring the mall for the perfect presents for all of the wonderful moms in my life, but mid-mall trip I realized that I’m going above and beyond the call of duty to find presents, when I really should be searching deep down to show how much I care.

Happy May, everybody! One of my favorite months has finally arrived and I’m ready for the warmer weather. I just left the local mall and I’m happy to announce that mint green is officially “in”. I got me some cute capri pants and one of those big, floppy hats just for the heck of it. Exciting, right?
And that’s not the only exciting thing that happened over my lunch break… I heard that Jessica Simpson FINALLY had her baby! She was ten days overdue (and probably ready to get that kid out of her), when she finally went into labor and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl this morning. Is it me, or does it seem like everyone is getting pregnant and having babies lately? It must be something in the water…
Luckily, I’ll never have a shortage of eCards, since there’s an entire “New Baby” section on MyFunCards.
Is that not the most adorable photo ever? I just love the little ones. Anyway, be sure to visit MFC for all of the soon-to-be-parents or new parents in your life. I know I just gave you the run-down on the importance of saving our environment on Earth Day, but since it’s Arbor Day, I wanted to quickly reiterate the impact you can make on the Earth by doing your part to save the trees! I know, I know… it will all be over soon, so don’t worry. I’ll have you out of here before you can say “TIMBERRRR!”
Anyway, if you aren’t able to do your part by planting a tree today (or by huggging them, like I do), spread the word to your friends and family, and maybe some of them will have time to head out and plant a baby tree!
