Putting just the right words together has always been DeeDee’s specialty – whether it’s revamping someone’s resume to land that dream job, helping someone phrase a love letter in the sweetest possible way or cleaning up someone’s spelling for an A-worthy term paper.

So, it’s pretty perfect that she landed a job as the lead editor of MyFunCards, where the whole goal is to give people an easy way to say what they mean for any occasion. Add to that the adventure of managing Post Scripts, where MyFunCards fans can meet to share all kinds of stories, and DeeDee’s truly found a calling she’s not only good at, but really loves to do.

Sure, she’s settled down since her wild-and-crazy youth. Whoa, slow down… that’s just to mean settled down on the couch keeping up with TiVO! Though she loves visiting with her married friends and entertaining their kids (like everyone’s cool aunt), DeeDee’s happily single. Holding steady at 39 forever (after all, 30 is the new 20), her inner child has given her a reputation for having an active imagination, a giddy excitement and an inability to hide that she’s got a secret even though she’s absolutely keeping it.

What definitely isn’t a secret is DeeDee’s addiction to dark chocolate, Starbucks and all things pop culture. She made her early living as an entertainment journalist, so she’s acquired a handy ability to talk to just about anyone about at least something they’re interested in.

She’s silly. She’s stubborn. She’s whimsical. She’s sweet.

She’s an observer. She’s a hugger. She’s a dreamer.

And she’s truly grateful for the opportunity to share in your lives.
