Question 1: Be MyFunCards Valentine Contest
Jan 31st
THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED! STAY TUNED FOR ANOTHER ONE SOON!
Good morning MFC friends! The Be MyFunCards Valentine Contest is now open!
Remember that in order to enter the contest, you need to respond here on this Post Scripts page by adding your answer as a comment. Answering anywhere else will NOT count.
Don’t worry if you don’t see it appear. I’m keeping things fair by hiding your answers so everyone has a fair chance to get it right. You can guess as many times as you like. If you answer correctly, you’ll be entered into that day’s sweepstakes randomizer. One person will win each day, and you can only win once.
Please make sure you read all of the contest rules before answering each day to make sure you’re eligible and that you don’t disqualify yourself by doing something silly. And just another reminder that all of these questions are about cards you can send from the MyFunCards site.
Here’s the first question:

Hugs!

P.S. Good Luck!

Be the star of a Valentine’s video eCard!
Jan 24th
Love is in the air, MyFunCards Friends! It’s also all over our site and our Facebook page, too. One of the features I’m most excited about is our new and improved Be My Valentine!
Whether you made dancing Santas and elves for Christmas or you’re new to the “Be a Star” idea, customizing video Valentine’s eCards with familiar faces and sharing them with friends and fam is sure to make you (and them) happy.
And when it comes to our Be My Valentine series, these aren’t the kind of cards that should be kept between you and your special someone. Heck, you don’t even need a special someone to get a kick out of these silly scenes. More >
Poll: MyFunCards Invitations
Jan 21st
Planning an event can be a lot of work. Asking friends and family to attend should be the easiest part!
We at MyFunCards are working on a brand new series of invitations and we’d like to invite you to help shape what we’ll be working on.
We’ve got a few specific questions to ask and we’d love it if everyone could take a quick minute to just vote in the next few polls. They’re super-straightforward and they’ll really help us a lot to give you exactly the kinds of things you want and need when it comes to eCards.
If you’ve got some strong feelings or great ideas, we’d love to hear those, too. Feel free to comment below to tell us more about why you answered the way you did or to give some other kind of information that will help us help you. But back to these polls…
First, well, this is a pretty obvious question.
If you answered no, it’s not likely you’ll want to answer any more questions. But, hey, all input is certainly welcome. You can certainly continue if you’d like to clarify what would make you change your mind.
Next, we’re not only discussing big this project is going to get, we’re talking about all the different ways we receive invitations.
Finally, there are tons of types of invitations that people tend to send. We’re wondering what are the gatherings you host for which you’d like to see more MyFunCards invitations.
Hugs!

P.S. Thanks for taking the time!
Quote unquote requote
Jan 18th
I’ve always wished I was one of those people with a photographic memory or an encyclopedic mind. You know, someone who can rattle off stats without blinking twice or who can recall a year later exactly which email included specific information.
I lost hours off of my life this last weekend because of my inferior memory. If I’m honest, it’s also because of my failure to really stop and absorb a simple but poignant piece of writing into my sub-par noggin.
It started… wow. I can’t even remember where. It might have been a quote of the day app on my phone, or a random publication I happened to see. Whatever the case, I glanced (too quickly) at a great quotation. Days later, I was trying to talk about it and I realized that… POOF! It had disappeared.
No problem, I thought arrogantly. I’ll just Google it. Several hours and countless keyword combinations later, I was as empty-handed and empty-headed as when I’d started.
I mentioned this frustration on Facebook and I immediately got a response asking what the quotation was about. I paraphrased (poorly) only to look back moments later to see that my sister had posted the exact quotation! I’m so indebted to her now, not just for saving my temporary sanity. More >
