Sorta Summer…

Amusement parks.
Barbecues.
Ice cream cones.
Blockbuster movies.

There’s just nothing like summer.
It’s true that wearing white’s been acceptable for a week or so now. It’s also true that the sun’s been out and beating down in a big way. And, indeed, there’s very little on the small (TV) screens and tons of fun stuff on the big (movie) screens. But the truth is… it’s not actually summer yet!
The Summer Solstice takes place June 21, and that marks the official beginning of summer. You know what… who cares? Let’s crank up the air conditioning, pour a tall, sweaty glass of lemonade and start sending out some of these cool Summer eCards!

This weekend promises to be absolutely SIZZLIN’!!!
I mean, what with the long weekend, the fine spring weather and May being National Burger Month, it stands to reason that there will be a lot of festive BBQing this weekend. Make that a veggie burger for me, loaded with pepperjack cheese, grilled onions, mustard, ketchup, pickles, lettuce and tomato. Pickle on the side (far from the fries) please!
In between bites, take a moment to wish friends and family a fun extended weekend with this humorous Memorial Day Weekend eCard. After all, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with kicking back and relaxing for a few days. We all work hard and deserve some R&R.

It’s a beautiful Tuesday afternoon. The sky is a bright blue spotted with fluffy white clouds. The sun is shining and full of warmth. I just looked at the thermometer and it’s a perfect 70 degrees out. The trees have fully sprouted their leaves, dotting the horizon with reds, pinks, oranges, whites and uncountable shades of green.
This is what spring is all about! Now let’s put the sprinkles on top of that cone, because I walked by a Häagen-Dazs® on my way to lunch and today is a free ice cream cone day!
